June 12, 2010

Wow - what a fabulous day! (Okay the weather wasn't the greatest - I agree!)  But, in the store, well let's just say it was a hubbub of activity.

Anita Zobens of Cotton Mill Threadworks was here with The Open Thread Bar and the girls had a fabulous class - not to mention a great introduction to Superior Threads.  She got here about 9:30 a.m. to set up and class started at 10:30 a.m. sharp.  If you keep up with the blog, you will remember that I took this class way back in February through the guild I belong to and I was blown away - nothing's changed, she blew me away again today - with even more information.

The girls worked very hard and after a short lunch break were back at work up until 5:00 P.M..

If you missed this class, not to worry, Anita will be back again on Tuesday october 13th, 2010 to do it again!  Everything you ever wanted to know about thread - Anita will tell you!  Check out her Newsletter and website at http://www.cottonmillthreadworks.com/ .

Even better news - Anita will be in to teach on Saturday September 25th, 2010 - Applique Buffet - another one of her fabulous classes.  You won't want to miss this great class on "all you need to know" about machine applique.  I'm pretty sure I'll be reserving one of the spaces for "Sonia" (my Janome) and I.

Tomorrow is our Block of the Month - Sweet Tea so I have to go prep the classroom and put some finishing touches on the lunch menu.  Then I think I'll just relax with my hand quilting.......

Happy Quilting!
