All I can say is WOW!

Got to Belle River around 11:00 P.M. and now I understand why the Google map was so confused.  Libby and Lorenso don't actually live in Belle River, nor do they actually live in Emeryville - they live half in Belle River and half in Emeryville because the sign for Emeryville is at the end of their driveway!

We didn't hang out too long before we all headed for bed and I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in awhile - waking up at 8:00 A.M. actually refreshed.....it's been a pretty lazy day for me but there was plenty of activity around the house.....

The drainage guys were coming and Libby was making them lunch so we went into town to get some supplies.....she had to show off her new wheels!
Check it out ladies - it's a Husqvarna - not just sewing machines!  She wants to have it painted pink and add some silk flowers (it'll drive her neighbour crazy!  He races these things!)

So on the way back in I took a photo from the bottom of the driveway.....

Then I had to stop again when we got about halfway up to get a closer look.......the house is absolutely stunning!

It just gets better, I was inside working on my Ditch Flowers - just sitting there and then I looked up!  WOW!

The upstairs is basically the master SUITE - it has everything! ....including Libby's sewing area!  It is the inner sanctum (pics to follow)!

From this vantage point you can see the kitchen.....

....and the front door.....

There's Lorenso (in this heat) fixing the back fence which he and Libby put in this weekend......
...and the boys have shown up with the heavy machinery, Brian, T.J. and Jerome from Rudak Drainage!  (They also do a little landscaping work when needed)  They were there to put one more catch basin in so there would be no more flooding.....
This picture is for Richard - to show him that I do know what to do with "tie wraps"!  Actually, Lorenso having working for Hydro knows they can be used for just about anything!  (In case no-one has noticed we use them all over the store to hold the poles which display the quilts).
Here's "loony" Luna catching some sun (actually she's under the umbrella in the shade),  boy has she grown and she is adorable......
This is T.J. digging out Libby's front garden - which is alot easier than how they did the rest of it, by digging with shovels......
As usual - my lousy picture taking, but here's the beginning of the front garden......

This is right in front of the house..........

We walked to the back of the property to check out the pond and the gold fish.......

The water level is still a bit low but the rain is coming so hopefully it will fill the pond.........
This is a picture from the back of the property - not even that far back!
Lisa got here around 4:30 P.M. and we've been having a laugh ever since!  The life of the party has arrived!
Got a picture of a Red Winged Blackbird!  You can click on it for a closer look (Lisa says it will chirp if you click!)
This is the last shot for today - but look at all the work they've done and that's just the half of it.......it is really going to be amazing when it's done - a fabulous work in progress!
As much as I love sharing my adventures - this blogging is taking away from my quilting time (this is an unofficial quilting retreat after all), so I will sign off and get back to the task at hand - Sweet Tea!  and Sweet Dreams everyone!

Happy Quilting!
